The University of Michigan-Flint's Winter 2025 Commencement ceremonies, May 3-4, at Riverfront Conference Center, provided a time for celebration and individual expression. The vast array of creatively decorated graduation caps was all the evidence anyone needed. UM-Flint's Ellen Bommarito LGBT Center honored students at its first Lavender Graduation ceremony.

The University of Michigan-Flint's Ellen Bommarito LGBT Center held its first-ever Lavender Graduation on Tuesday, April 15 at the Northbank Center. The ceremony is conducted on numerous campuses to honor lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, asexual, and ally students, and to acknowledge their achievements and contributions to the university.
