Cyber classrooms help to deliver remote instruction at UM-Flint
Featuring multiple cameras, microphones, and digital input devices such as digital whiteboards and document cameras, these cyber classrooms (of which there are three on campus) intelligently record the audio and video of each class meeting.

UM-Flint was accepted into the third cohort of the Culture of Respect Collective. Culture of Respect is a NASPA (Student Affairs Administrators in Higher Education) initiative that offers evidence-based best practices and utilizes existing programs and resources on campus to end sexual violence.

CAPS offers a variety of free services, including individual and group therapy, screenings, emergent care and consultation, referrals to outside agencies, and crisis services to enrolled UM-Flint students.

Wreaking havoc: Invasive species in Michigan
February 24-28 is National Invasive Species Awareness Week, a time to learn more about the exotic species that are having adverse effects on the local environment as well as the economy.
While invasive species are a problem the world over, Michigan is particularly vulnerable thanks to the Great Lakes, which serve as shipping routes for international vessels. More than 180 invasive species now call the Great Lakes home.
