Bisgin is an assistant professor of computer science with expertise in data mining and machine learning. His interdisciplinary approach has allowed him to make advances in numerous fields outside the typical realm of computer science.

The University of Michigan-Flint is launching two new residential learning communities this fall. The learning communities will focus on social justice and leadership. Both are collaborations between UM-Flint's Housing and Residence Life, academic programs, and the Division of Student Affairs.

Virtual activities from the Rec Center keep campus community active

Although the University of Michigan-Flint is currently conducting most of its business while seated in front of a computer, the Recreation Center has plenty of opportunities for students to remain active and engaged through virtual fitness and wellness activities such as yoga classes, workout videos, and Esports.
