UM-Flint and Flint Community Schools Establish Dual Enrollment Educational Partnership (DEEP) Program
Flint Community Schools (FCS) and the University of Michigan-Flint are collaborating to offer a cost-free dual enrollment opportunity for FCS high school seniors. The Dual Enrollment Educational Partnerships (DEEP) initiative allows motivated Flint high school students to earn college credit by taking accredited courses taught by UM‐Flint faculty on the university's campus.
University of Michigan-Flint School of Management Receives Largest Gift in its History
The University of Michigan-Flint is proud to announce a leadership gift of $2 million from Philip and Jocelyn Hagerman, the largest single gift to the School of Management (SOM). The donation will create the Hagerman Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the SOM. Hagerman is the founder and chief executive officer of Diplomat Pharmacy, Inc., headquartered in Flint.
Alumnus Bobby Crim Donates Half a Million Dollars for UM-Flint Scholarships
Legendary University of Michigan-Flint alumnus Bobby Crim and his wife Marsha are donating $500,000 to the university. The endowment fund will be used for student scholarships.
