Two UM-Flint classes have teamed up to showcase the photography and lives of people that utilize Catholic Charities' Center for Hope. Students are also developing ideas for a social media campaign to raise money for the center.

The student-led magazine, which comes out bi-annually, is taking submissions for its next edition through October 6. Editor-In-Chief Stacie Scherman said the publication is ramping up its efforts to let the public know that anyone can submit work.

UM-Flint's Wyatt Professor of U.S. History Thomas Henthorn, Ph.D. has been selected as the Michigan Humanities Council state scholar for The Way We Worked, a traveling Smithsonian Institution exhibit focusing on American work culture.
