Civic Engagement Leads to Career Advancement for Recent UM-Flint Graduate
Vivian Williams taught Girl Scouts the ins and outs of using social media during her civic engagement class at UM-Flint. The experience helped open her eyes to the Girl Scouts of Southeastern Michigan. Williams, who graduated in May, recently took a job with the organization in its downtown Flint offices.
University Of Michigan-Flint Achieves Eighth Consecutive Year Of Enrollment Growth
The University of Michigan-Flint has achieved historically high enrollment for the eighth consecutive year. Enrollment for fall 2014 at the University of Michigan-Flint now approaches 8,600 with 8,574 students, up from 8555 students attending in 2013. Significant enrollment growth occurred in the areas of graduate, international, and dual enrollment.
Renovation and Construction Projects Underway Across UM-Flint Campus
This year, Facilities & Operations is overseeing nearly a dozen major projects with a combined price tag of $4.6 million.
