Hundreds of students arrived at the University of Michigan-Flint's First Street Residence Hall Aug. 24. The day marked the first of two move-in days at the downtown campus as students who will live at the Riverfront Residence Hall will get settled Aug. 27. The arrival of residential students marks the beginning of a busy weekend for the Flint campus as it will also play host to New Student Convocation – a ceremony welcoming first-time Wolverines to the university – as well as Blue Bash, which provides students, faculty and staff a chance to meet and mingle before the first day of classes, Aug. 28.
