UM-Flint hosted the Michigan High School Esports Federation Spring State Finals, May 4.

The University of Michigan-Flint's Recreation Center was turned into the state's largest esports arena, May 4, as the campus hosted the Michigan High School Esports Federation Spring State Finals. The day featured high-octane competition, showcasing the burgeoning talent of Michigan's younger esports athletes as approximately 400 gamers representing nearly 50 schools competed for state titles in games including Rocket League, Overwatch 2, Super Smash Bros, and League of Legends. The event featured more than 100 computer gaming stations configured on the Rec Center floor thanks to a partnership between UM-Flint's College of Innovation & Technology and MiHSEF.
