Join a special panel discussion Thursday, April 8, 11 a.m. in the Happenings Room in University Center featuring renowned expert on biotechnology and bioethics, Arthur Caplan, Ph.D., as he presents an ethical framework to think through some of the most difficult issues facing Americans today, and the impact these issues have on our lives. Caplan offers a glimpse of the most astounding scientific advancements that will become reality in short order.
The panel will also discuss the recently passed healthcare legislation.

Caplan is joined by Dean Barbara Kornblau of the UM-Flint School of Health Professions and Studies, Simon Cushing of the Philosophy Department and other distinguished guests. The panel discussion session is open to the public with free admission.
