UM-Flint Presents Awards at 2017 Fall Convocation

The University of Michigan-Flint held its annual Fall Convocation August 31 at the university theatre to celebrate those receiving faculty awards, promotion and/or tenure, and to honor those receiving service awards. New faculty were also welcomed, faculty who have passed away were remembered, and new staff were recognized.

Twenty new faculty and thirty-six new staff were announced at the event. Nineteen faculty and staff received promotions and/or tenure. Eleven faculty were honored with service awards, ranging from 10 or more years of service, to 30 years or more.
