UM-Flint presents awards at 2018 Academic Affairs Convocation

The University of Michigan-Flint held its annual Academic Affairs Convocation August 30 at the UM-Flint Theatre to celebrate those receiving faculty awards, promotion and/or tenure, and to honor those receiving service awards. New faculty were also welcomed, and new staff were recognized. There was also a moment of silence for senior associate librarian Vanessa Prygoski, who passed away this year.

Six new faculty and fifteen new staff members were announced at the event. Fourteen faculty and staff members received promotions and/or tenure. Twenty-five faculty members were honored with service awards, ranging from 10 or more years of service to 30 years or more.
