    With commencement just days away, the University of Michigan-Flint spent the past week celebrating graduates across a series of community-centered events. From the Black Student Union's B.L.A.K. Graduation to a vibrant Latino Celebration featuring art, culture and a live mariachi band, each gathering reflected the journeys of its graduates. Lavender Graduation honored LGBTQIA2S+ students with pride stoles, while the Student Veterans Resource Center recognized military-connected graduates and their families.
