    Building connections that go beyond the badge, the University of Michigan-Flint Department of Public Safety continues its work with residents at River Village Apartments through consistent, on-the-ground engagement. Weekly tutoring led by faculty and staff provides students with academic support and mentorship in a space that feels familiar and supportive. The department's mobile engagement RV adds to the mix, creating a fun, relaxed environment where officers and neighbors, especially youth, can connect.
