The UM-Flint College of Innovation and Technology hosted Revving Up STEM, Feb. 17, an initiative that uses motorsports engineering, data science and real-world racing applications to inspire middle and high school students to pursue STEM careers. Attendees explored interactive racing simulations, viewed a race car display, and heard directly from professionals connected to NASCAR, IndyCar and motorsports entrepreneurship. A live panel discussion that highlighted careers in engineering, data and software development, marketing and media, project management, and other technical fields that power the racing industry behind the scenes also took place.
