UM-Flint's Officer Friendly Day returned for its fourth year on April 26, bringing together local law enforcement and the autism community for a day of connection, learning, and fun. This year's event introduced exciting new experiences like virtual reality simulations that allowed participants to explore police interactions safely and educationally. Families enjoyed free food, games, crafts, story time with officers, and police vehicle tours—all designed to foster understanding and build stronger, more compassionate relationships between law enforcement and individuals with autism. It was a powerful day of shared experiences and meaningful moments you won't want to miss.
