The University of Michigan-Flint joined with the broader community, April 9, to honor sexual assault survivors during "Take Back the Night." The evening's programming began with a keynote address from acclaimed filmmaker and activist Byron Hurt, challenging attendees to rethink cultural norms around masculinity and violence. Participants then took to the streets for a community march, sending a clear message of solidarity with survivors and calling for systemic change.
