"Proof" is a Pulitzer Prize-winning play centered on Catherine, a young woman caring for her brilliant and mentally unstable father, Robert. After his death, a groundbreaking mathematical proof is found in his notebooks, leading to questions about its authorship and authenticity. Catherine grapples with her own mathematical talent and the weight of her father's legacy while dealing with the doubt and expectations of others. Performances happen March 22-24 and 29-30 at the UM-Flint Theatre. For tickets, visit the Flint Institute of Music's webpage.
