UM-Flint 2013 Faculty Research and Creative Activity Summit (FRACAS)

FRACAS (Faculty Research and Creative Activity Summit) is an interdisciplinary conference in which faculty will present their creative and scholarly works. FRACAS will be held Friday, October 18, 2013, 8:45 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Riverfront Center in downtown Flint.

Topics include Innovative Research in Physical Therapy; Energy and Environmental Sustainability; Positive Interpersonal Relations Here and Abroad; Supporting Diversity in Teaching and Learning; and much more. Formats will include lively and informative presentations and posters, with time for questions and good-natured "fracas."

"It is a great opportunity to get a sampling of the exciting work being done by the UM-Flint faculty," said Psychology Professor Marianne McGrath, a planning committee member. "The event is free and open to everyone."

Other planning committee members are Kazuko Hiramatsu, Yener Kandogan, Andre Louis, Mary Mandeville, and Mary Jo Finney. FRACAS is sponsored by the Office of Senior Vice Provost and the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs.
