This year's series has three themes–one for each event—starting with Tuesday's "Rebirth/New Beginnings", then "Love" (March 23rd), and finally on April 13th "Faith."

The readers are a combination of poets and UM-Flint faculty, including poets Ibaa Ismail, Joseph Tyler, Jan Worth, and Flint's Grayce Scholt.

"Poetry Under the Stars" is a joint effort between Sloan-Longway and the University of Michigan-Flint's Department of Foreign Languages & Literatures and faculty members from other disciplines, specifically Teddy Robertson (History) and Jan Worth (English).
