A pair of pre-commencement celebrations took place April 13. The Lavender Graduation honored graduates in the LGBTQIA2S+ community with a lunch, speakers, and lavender stoles presented to all attending graduates that they can wear during the university's May 3-4 commencement ceremonies. Meanwhile, Black Student Union hosted B.L.A.K. Grad, aka Black Leaders Achieving Kujichagulia, which is defined as self-determination. The celebration featured dinner, entertainment and giveaways for the graduates. Photos by Jake Cessna from the Office of Marketing and Communications.
