Families from across the UM-Flint campus and the surrounding community came together for an evening of play, discovery and imagination at the Early Childhood Development Center's "Light Up the Night" event, Jan. 16. From glowing experiments to hands-on classroom activities, children and caregivers explored the magical relationship between light and shadow through interactive learning stations led by ECDC teachers and campus partners. The free-flowing event invited families to move at their own pace, discovering new activities, meeting campus organizations and creating moments of wonder along the way.
