The University of Michigan-Flint celebrated the graduation of its fifth Doctor of Nurse Anesthesia Practice cohort, Aug. 15. The program celebrated 30 graduates at the ceremony, staged at the UM-Flint Theatre. DNAP students complete an intensive 36-month curriculum that integrates advanced didactic instruction, high-acuity clinical training, and evidence-based research to prepare them as expert Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists. They emerge as autonomous anesthesia providers and leaders equipped to deliver safe, compassionate and quality care across diverse patient populations and settings.
