The University of Michigan-Flint's Theatre & Dance will stage its first mainstage production of the 2024-25 season, "Exit, Pursued by a Bear," with shows Nov. 8-10 and 15-17. The play, written by Lauren Gunderson and directed by William Irwin, tells the story of Nan, who has decided to teach her abusive husband, Kyle, a lesson that includes forcing him to watch re-enactments of painful scenes from their past – and eventually, raw meat and honey. Tickets for the "smart, dark revenge comedy about marriage, friendship, love, betrayal, taking a stand, and revenge that's surprisingly uplifting" are available online.
