The newest generation of Leaders & Best started their academic careers with UM-Flint at New Student Convocation and the Blue Bash BBQ, Aug. 27.

Incoming UM-Flint students took part in the Aug. 27 New Student Convocation, a brief ceremony to begin the new academic year. The event is a jumping-off point to "prepare students for their journeys of intellectual discovery in a close-knit and supportive community." Immediately following, the group – along with family and friends – took part in the annual Blue Bash, enjoying food and entertainment prior to the start of fall classes, Aug. 28.
