For the first time in its history, the Michigan Association of International Educators (MAIE) has selected Flint as the site of its 49th Annual Conference. The University of Michigan-Flint is hosting up to150 international educators from colleges and universities around the state and Midwest. The conference will open on Wednesday, March 16, and continue through Friday, March 18.

"The meeting schedule includes a variety of workshops and presentations covering issues and new ideas in International Education," said Patriece Campbell of the UM-Flint International Center, who is chair-elect of MAIE. "Topics will include Education Abroad, Recruiting and Admissions, International Student and Scholar Services just to name a few."

MAIE was organized to promote international education in Michigan, and provide professional development through the annual conference.
