One year after opening, the University of Michigan-Flint First Street Residence Hall has again filled all 300 beds, according to housing officials.

Returning students moved in Tuesday, September 1, and new students came in on Wednesday. The Residence Hall is the first student housing to be built on the Flint campus. The hall helped to attract students from across the country, and dramatically increased the number of international students. Last year, UM-Flint had a record high enrollment of almost 7300 undergrad and graduate students. More than a 100 current students, faculty, and staff volunteered to help the new arrivals.
