The University of Michigan-Flint December 2007 Commencement will be held on Sunday, December 9, 2007 at the James H. Whiting Auditorium (dba The Whiting). The ceremony will begin at 2:30 p.m. More than 350 graduates are planning to attend.

December2006The December 2007 Commencement will be held on Sunday, December 9, 2007 at the James H. Whiting Auditorium (dba The Whiting). The ceremony will begin at 2:30 p.m. and is expected to last approximately 2½ hours. The Whiting is located between Mott Community College and University of Michigan–Flint on the Flint Cultural Center campus at 1241 E. Kearsley St. in Flint, MI. (Flint Cultural Center map). More than 350 graduates are planning to attend.

Tickets:
Guest admission to the December 2007 Commencement Ceremony is by ticket only. Graduates who are registered to participate in Commencement will not need a ticket. Graduates may receive up to five (5) tickets each for their guests. If extra tickets are available after the last pick up day on Wednesday, December 5, they will be distributed in the Office of the Registrar on a first-come, first-served basis on Thursday, December 6 from 8 am to 5:30pm and Friday, December 7 from 8am to 5 pm. Only two (2) extra tickets per graduate will be allowed.

Cap and Gown:
All degree candidates who participate in Commencement must wear appropriate academic attire. Caps and gowns are available for purchase at University Pavilion Bookstore any business day prior to the Ceremony. To avoid any difficulty obtaining your correct size in cap and gown, attire should be picked up from the Bookstore as soon as possible.
